Taiwan-based ODM/OEM digital camera makers, Ability Enterprise and Altek, on September 5 reported consolidated revenues for August 2008, respectively hiking by 42.2% and 29.9% on month.

Main clients have begun to release orders for new digital cameras to meet the year-end sales peak, and the proportion of high-end 10-megapixel models is increasing. As a result Ability Enterprise and Altek expect revenues to continue to rise until the end of the year, the two companies indicated.
