Novatek cuts 3Q sales guidance on stockpiled LCD monitor inventory

Novatek Microelectronics only expects its third-quarter sales to be flat or grow by a mild 1% on quarter as sales from the majority of its product lines are expected to be flat.
With demand for LCD monitors weakening, customers who need time to digest stockpiled inventory have affected overall shipments at Novatek, according to company executives.
